Lauren Webb is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has extensive experience providing clinical mental health treatment & services to children, adults, and families. For the past 15 years Lauren has worked in a variety of settings including non-profit community mental health organizations; addiction treatment centers; hospital-based inpatient units & intensive outpatient programs; and outpatient clinics. Her experience working in these settings includes, but is not limited to, conducting & evaluating various psychological assessments; diagnosing mental health conditions; working with patients to identify & make progress towards achieving treatment goals; facilitating individual & group psychotherapy; and working within multidisciplinary teams, as well as with external providers, to facilitate the provision of optimal collaborative care.
Lauren specializes in working with adults who are striving to adjust to/ cope with multiple stressors, uncertainty, change, and issues related to perfectionism, as well as adults who have been diagnosed with/ think they could benefit from assessment for and treatment of Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and/ or certain Personality Disorders. She is trained in a variety of evidence-based treatment methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, with advanced training in Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Perinatal Mental Health. Lauren believes in aligning with her values, which she incorporates in her practice: she strives to develop compassionate and authentic relationships with her patients, integrating and implementing techniques informed by and designed to help you obtain the maximum benefits of therapy, based on an ongoing assessment of your goals and needs.
Lauren was born and raised in West Tennessee, later moved to Southern California, then returned to Tennessee, where she obtained her Bachelors degree in Psychology and her Masters degree in Social Work from The University of Tennessee. She completed clinical internships at The McNabb Center and Cornerstone of Recovery in Knoxville, TN. Lauren’s personal interests include spending time with her son, jogging, traveling, rock painting, and theatre.
