Rachael Hausin is a Florida native who was born and raised in Naples, FL. She moved to Nashville, TN in 2016 where her heart for serving others blossomed into the career she is so passionate about today. Rachael received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Alabama in 2015. After moving to Nashville, TN, and spending time as a child and youth case manager, she decided to pursue a Master's Degree in Social Work and graduated in 2019 from the online campus of Arizona State University.
Rachael is currently a master's level clinician who is dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and adults in achieving their goals. Rachael works to empower her clients through a multidisciplinary approach. Rachael uses evidence-based approaches that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), and strengths-based approaches.She is passionate about and has experience working with those who are experiencing eating disorders, anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and trauma.
Rachael's intention is to support her clients in correcting unhelpful or ineffective patterns of behaviors, using healthy coping mechanisms, and achieving a felt sense of safety in their environments and bodies. She believes being present in a safe relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process.
Rachael has experience working in a number of mental health settings including schools, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, transitional housing programs, crisis work, and other community settings.
Rachael is currently pursuing her license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and is under licensure supervision with Lina Roberts, LCSW.
When Rachael is not providing therapy, she can be found reading a mystery novel, spending time in nature, connecting with family and friends, or watching The University of Alabama play football; Roll Tide!
